Spectacular views abound from this remote property high on the slopes of Ben Nevis and only 57km east of Launceston. The land ranges from 900 to 1100m above sea level and is predominantly steep with a south-westerly aspect. A flat area in a saddle between the summit of Ben Nevis and an unnamed peak to the south east provides a magnificent site for an isolated eyrie.

Conservation Values
Logging has occurred over most of the property, but regeneration is proceeding well. The forest is mainly Gum-topped stringy bark (Eucalyptus delegatensis ), with a small area of Tasmanian Snow Gum (E. coccifera) forest mapped just below the summit. The property provides suitable habitat for several threatened fauna species, including the Wedge-tailed Eagle and Tasmanian Devil.
