braaap motorcycles are granting the opportunity to join the braaap network to a passionate franchisee. There are only 2 existing stores that we are starting to interview potential franchisee’s for. The braaap Launceston Store and the braaap Hobart Store.
These 2 stores have been operating for 3 years and are doing extremely well! We have massive plans for the braaap network and are in the middle of rolling out 50 stores across Australia in the coming 5 years.
Franchising out the Launceston and Hobart Stores is a part of the short term side of that plan.
We have few reason’s and I would love to discuss in more detail. But it is proven that a owner operator will run a store 20 – 30% better that a Manager would.
We need passionate franchisee’s to drive the business forwards with our support.
braaap, Brad and the Smith family need to focus on building and maintaining the support network for franchisee’s, growing the braaap brand, building and developing the braaap product line, pushing the sport and the whole braaap franchise network forwards.

A few notes from braaap founder, Brad Smith, Young Entrepreneur of the Year and Australian of the year finalist.
“Hello and thanks heaps for checking out braaap!
I’m stoked to have the opportunity to show off everything we do here at braaap! This has been an amazing journey for everyone here at braap, my staff, my family and myself. I want to show you why I have chosen the franchise method of growing and how you can benefit from this.
Motocross has been my passion for ever! It’s the sport we have enjoyed as a whole family. My dream was to help get the sport of mini motocross pumping in Australia. When I first discovered pitbike racing the sport of mini motocross was (and still is) absolutely pumping in America. In Australia at the this time people where selling pitbikes, but there was no one doing it properly!
When I first designed the braaapster and imported it into Australia, I had dealer’s right across the country, WA to Qld, NSW, VIC and Tas! The dealers sold a decent number of bikes, the volume was great. But my dream, my passion was and still is to get the sport pumping in Australia. For this to happen firstly we needed a bike that could hold up to the punishment we put them through, be affordable to everyone and equally as important we needed them to be sold through retail stores that shared the same vision. The vision to build something awesome! A pumping sport that the whole family can enjoy. We needed stores that would support the whole mini motocross scene and motorcycle lifestyle. Stacks of spare parts, mechanics, tracks, coaching, racing and rider development, education programs, casual and street clothing, stickers, hot ups, all the big brands and braaap was born!
Mini motocross as a sport needed a retail support network to drive it forward. This needed to be Australia wide. We created the braaap in Launceston store. Proved the idea worked on a local level, then repeated the process to prove the first store wasn’t a fluke.
Remember my passion, my dream was and is to get the sport of mini motocross pumping in Australia. Mini Motocross needs a retail support network Australia.
To cut a long story short for the past 2 years myself and the braaap team have been working flat out with DC strategy to build the braaap franchise model. Now we are ready to roll out the network. We are currently recruiting passionate franchisee’s to join the braaap team.
No experience necessary, passion is required!
Bring it on!”
