Originally The Leather Bottle Inn (circa 1830) this property oozes’ history, with the Inn being a place with a colorful past. John MacNamara, a police constable was shot and killed there with two other constables (ex convicts) were tried for his murder and found guilty of the crime. Both were executed.
Two buildings on the one property, means the opportunities are endless, the front original building is in immaculate condition through out, fitted with a commercial kitchen, lovely front portico entry, large front rooms, rest rooms for guests, it opens up to being used for perhaps tearooms, antique shop, BandB or even a reception venue, would be fabulous for weddings and the like, with a stunning private garden area, let your imagination run wild. (STCA)
Next door is a charming cottage built in 1997, with the surrounding in mind, 2 bedrooms, large kitchen/lounge area, double doors leading out to a beautiful courtyard and gardens. Keeping with all the character and charm of the property we even have an old Prison Cell in the back of the garden, (Circa 1850)
