Early settlers farmed these heavy soil flats. Approximately 25% of the total area has been cropped or grazed. A 13 hectare (approximately) plantation was established in 1991 at the same time some of the native forest was selectively logged. Formed gravel roads provide access to much of the timber resource. The Dungiven stone house is a sandstone ruin today but many local residents can provide stories of its colourful past. This internal block has access over a neighbouring title which is also for sale by Tender.
