Merriman’s Creek originates high in the temperate rainforests of the Strzlecki ranges midway to the coast, slowing to meander through the fertile farming valley’s below.

It is here this docile stream forms an integral part of the property Mertonvale… initially providing a Southern boundary then splitting to wander restfully through the property before reconverging.

Mertonvale 200 acres of fertile alluvial river soils, rising sharply into the sandy ridges of the adjoining vast grasstree and Banksia forests of Holey Plains State Park.
