Wattle Grove is a little known gem in the Shire of Kalamunda, nestling in the Lesmudie foothills and with easy and direct access to the city and freeway system.

In the early 1900s, local settlers commented on the ‘Groves of Wattles’ in the area. Welshpool Road, at the time, a mere track, was lined with wattles, those beautiful short lived trees and bushes which provide us with such intense beauty when they are in full yellow blossom.

These groves still exist on the south side of Welshpool Road, where the locals decided a few years ago that they wanted their rural-like environment to be unchanged.

On the north side, there was general consensus for subdivision and over the last decade, development has been the name of the game in this area.

The farmland had been largely horse properties and mainly level, so the new homes have benefitted enormously from this.

N0 1 Karadong was built 1n 2008 by New Generation, for Summit Homes.

There were many improvements including:
* Termimesh (in lieu of chemical sprays)
* Colourbond gutters, fascia and downpipes in lieu of zincalume
* A Solar Hot Water System, with gas booster in lieu of a gas storage system
* Reverse cycle air con
* Full retic and garden creation
* Quality Covered Pergola and Extensive Paving

The home itself, has four good sized bedrooms, study, home theatre/lounge, leisure/games room and double garage with bench space and automatic doors.

There is side access to the property through double gates.
