The vineyard is located in East Porongorups with 9 hectares planted with various varieties of vines. The total area of the property is 40.569 hectares which is approximately 100 acres.It is apparent that the philosophy behind Zarephath is to produce a range of wines of high quality distinction. The viticultural practices carried out are of an exceptional standard.The property is located approximately 50km from Albany and is 5km off the bituminised Takalarup Road along the Moorialup Road. The property benefits from the usual rural farming facilities including electricity, telephone, and is dependant upon rain water supplies for household purposes and dams for irrigation of the vines.Overall the vines have matured with the first plantings in 1994, expanded in 1996 with the final plantings some 4 years ago. Hence most vines are in a good state of maturity and are highly productive.The improvements consist of wine sales outlet with accommodation plus a further stone and colourbond dwelling and a shed.Trading under the Zarephath wine label has won recognition for quality wines and has won many awards.
