In the 1860′s travellers making their way south by horse and coach found rest and refreshment at Thomas Maslin’s Blackwood Inn. The handmade brick became a landmark. The original building and grounds remain largely unchanged, classified by the National Trust as an important link in the early heritage of the South West. Today the Inn is set up as a fine old Country House with 4 spacious bedrooms, 2 lounges with crackling log fires, large kitchen and cosy dining area. The Inn’s gardens make a lovely setting for outdoor dining and in season owners can pick fruit from trees that were planted in the 1860′s. Price now reduced to $435,000
