You too can enjoy lazy days in Pemberton because this cottage is just perfect with not a cent to spend. The Owners have renovated, rebuilt and reorganized this property to provide the perfect getaway or if you prefer, a very comfortable home in a quiet location.
Inside there’s a new kitchen and bathroom and the old polished floorboards look an absolute treat running throughout the house under the high ceilings. The owners have made good use of the back verandah by enclosing it and using it as the laundry. The original toilet is at the back of the house along with a second in the recently renovated bathroom. Even the old wooden garage looks a treat!
But it’s outside that this property comes into its own with a choice of places to kick back and unwind. The front verandah provides a great place to watch the world go by, well as quickly as it goes on the top end of Dean Street on the edge of the forest. (By the way it’s only a short few steps to the supermarket and other shops). Then out the back there is a fantastic patio area with views of the famous Karri trees plus there’s an old pot belly stove to keep you warm whilst the wood BBQ cooks your favourite food on those cooler Pemberton nights. There is access from the rear laneway which in turn allows access to another carport. As you will see from the pictures the picket fences are all in good order along with an assortment of young fruit trees and established garden beds (suitable for lock-up & leave). The current owners have been running this as short term stay accommodation when they are not using it and have set up their own website. So you get to use it when you want to and then you get some extra cash throughout the rest of the year!
So why is the perfect cottage this cheap? Well its leasehold land like the others around it, like to know more, then call Colin and he’ll be happy to explain the situation to you on this exclusively heritage listed property.
