54.98 acres of rural land situated on the door step of Keralup. On the property is a solar powered 2 storey home in the style of an American barn with one bedroom and one bathroom which could easily be converted into a 4×1.
The property also has two 9 metre by 6 metre sheds, a couple of paddocks and a stable. The bore is fed directly from an aquifer and there is a dam of approximately 100m x 20m on the property. Rates are approx $2,360.
The plans for Keralup are absolutely stunning.
Keralup will be the pre-eminent strategic project for the region. The proposed Keralup townsite, about 50% of which falls within the south-eastern portion of Rockingham, is forecast to accommodate up to 90,000 people over a 4,000 hectare site, under the ownership of the Department of Housing.
The Government has recently committed to undertaking the detailed environmental analysis necessary to progress the project. This commitment follows advice from the Environmental Protection Authority which identified a number of significant environmental issues that are required to be addressed, or suitably managed, for the necessary environmental approvals to be received.
The Department’s timetable for the project suggests that the first stage of development is at least five years away, although this would be subject to all environmental and planning approvals being secured.
Get on board now and buy into an area that is pre-eminently charging ahead and will be surrounded by a new wave of growth.
