The site is situated in a prominent position along Caves Road in the heart of the vineyard and tourism area of the South-West, 25km North of Margaret River and 25km South of Busselton.
Western Australia’s most famed and one of Australia’s best Wine Region is Margaret River. A wonderful representation of some of the most attractive undulating land in the Wilyabrup region. Wilyabrup is looked upon by many in the wine industry, as having the most perfect Mediterranean climate for the growing of premium wine. This particular property boasts soil types that are the envy of many wine producers in this area.
The whole vineyard is irrigated. Majority of the vineyard planted 1998 with a new planting of 4.5 hectares in 2010. All grapes produced have been sold since establishment, producing award winning wine including a five star James Halliday recognition. Last year there were eight different purchasers. Three were very well known premium wineries seeking high end Shiraz and Cabernet.
A wine tasting building is located at the entrance to the property off Caves Road incorporating a tasting room, service area, storage, entertaining deck and ablution facilities.
Boasting one of the largest freshwater lakes in the region. (110,000 megalitres) This is a significant asset, possibly not able to be created again. This water supply provides water to the vineyard and is certainly large enough to provide for any future expansion of the property.
